I love driving this thing. Yeah, it's a tarted up Equinox, but it sure feels nicer than that. I've ridden in and driven newer Equinoxes and this feels totally different.
It is a 2012 Cadillac SRX Performance Collection. It has like every option, and 32,000 miles. It's really the only recent GM product I've driven that I was even remotely impressed with.

Sorry, it's my OCD but I saw 'washed' and straight away thought what was used to clean and wax/seal the car and wash method. I can't help it. So what did you use?

You like driving that??? My grandma has a 2012 also and I despise driving it! I drove it to and from South Carolina last week and hated every second of the 14 hour drive.
Well, to each his own. What do you like about it? I gotta admit that the seats are comfy as hell.

Comfy seats, plenty of power, smooth ride, all kinds of nifty gadgets, quiet, sport mode that actually makes it almost fun, and the gigantic sunroof. And it looks great. That has nothing to do with how it drives, but still.

Did they finally switch over to electric assisted steering on these? Because I know my mom's Vue is hydraulic assisted. It's so weird having a nice weighty steering wheel and actual road feel in a CUV.
If it's anything like my mom's Vue, it's actually really fun to drive. Even though the Vue's 3.6 is down 50 horsepower over the Caddy's.

Lol well it had a warranty and my 82-year-old granny is delighted with it. So that works for me.

TBH, I am not sure, I know he steering feels different based on speed and whether you have it in "Sport" mode or not.

Well, I didn't wax it, but, I use Zymol car wash solution and of course Zymol cleaning wax as well. I love their stuff. I used to have a black Grand am and Zymol restored the shine and hid the fine marks and stuff in the paint better than anything I've tried.

I'm not a waxer myself. I love my sealants but I appreciate a lot of people do like a wax. White can be a pain to work with but pleasurable when it's done.
